A 210 x 55 shock will extend the travel of your Delano. Keep in mind that clearances between shock and frame, tires and frame, etc. should be checked when making any component changes. Our lifetime warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation or incompatible components.

Suspension gravel forks such as the Rockshox Rudy, 32AX, MRP Baxter or Suntour GVX, can be installed on the Shafer frame. You can add it during checkout on our website. If you choose to get one on your own later, we recommend running the longer fork offset option (as close to 50mm as possible).

We have found most riders benefit from the greater rollover and traction provided by 29 inch wheels. Let us know if you'd like 27.5+ wheels. We'll see how we can help you out.

Our mountain bikes use 31.6mm posts. Our road bikes use 27.2mm posts.

Our mountain and gravel bikes use 73mm English threaded bottom brackets, and our road bikes use press-fit BB86 bottom brackets.

Factory paint is warrantied to be free from defects for one year from purchase. Painting your frame can introduce processes and variables that could affect the frame or our ability to determine warranty issues.

Serial numbers are located on the frame beneath the bottom bracket area.
